About Us

Keystone Tree Expert Company was founded in 1968 by Bob McMullin, a Forestry major from Penn State University. It started with one salesman (Bob), one tree climber and one truck. For the last 50+ years we have grown into the “go-to” green industry professionals that homeowners, property managers, landscapers, garden centers and nurseries depend upon for the most up-to-date diagnoses and treatment options for trees and shrubs. All of our employees are involved in continuing education. Bob conducts Tuesday morning learning sessions for all employees before setting out for the day. We also offer a Green Industry Forum every winter for local companies to gather and learn. We pride ourselves on offering a family-like work environment with great benefits and strive to keep our employees and customers long term. We have a strong belief in tree/shrub preservation and have the utmost integrity in our recommendations. As we like to say, “we are tree doctors, not morticians”!
